What's different about The Independent?

I mean like, all papers today talked about the Royal Wedding, but The Independent is the only one not. And I'm sure I remember an instance of something like that happening before. So what's with The Independent? Like, is it anti-England, anti-Royalist, because surely, if you're going to be a 'newspaper', however much publicised it is, you have to talk about it.
