she was doing her job, she heard rumours and wanted to get to the bottom of it. its what any employer would do. if you know you,ve done nothing wrong i would ask her for a min in private and then nicely mention to her that you,ve heard these rumours yourself and they're not true. if you don't she,s going to now distrust you thinking your a liar. speak with her before it gets out of hand.
